SBA Express is a delivery method within the SBA 7(a) Loan Program that allows authorized SBA Express lenders to use delegated authority and generally follow their own lending processes and procedures, subject to SBA requirements.
Maximum Loan Amount
SBA Express loans may be available for amounts up to $500,000.
The SBA guaranty for SBA Express loans is generally limited to 50%, which is lower than the guaranty available under many other 7(a) delivery methods.
Potential Uses
Depending on borrower eligibility and lender underwriting, SBA Express financing may be used for eligible business purposes such as:
- Working capital
- Machinery and equipment
- Furniture, fixtures, and supplies
- Business expansion
- Eligible debt refinancing
- Complete or partial changes of ownership
- Qualifying commercial real estate
- Multiple eligible business purposes
SBA Express may also be structured as a revolving line of credit, with revolving terms of up to 10 years.
Lender Decision-Making
SBA Express lenders have delegated authority to process, approve, close, service, and liquidate eligible loans without obtaining SBA approval for each individual credit decision. The lender remains responsible for underwriting and determining whether the borrower and transaction satisfy applicable requirements.
SBA Express should not be interpreted as a guarantee of faster approval, closing, or funding. Actual timelines depend on the participating lender, borrower documentation, underwriting, and the complexity of the transaction.
Important: SBA financing is subject to lender underwriting and SBA eligibility requirements. White Feather Capital LLC is not an SBA lender. See our SBA Business Financing Disclosure for additional information.
